Nature weekend in the Bay of Somme

2 Days 1 Night

This itinerary offers a relaxing getaway to the beautiful seaside resort of La Baule-Escoublac, providing ample time to enjoy the beach, explore local attractions.

Day 1:Departure at 8:00 a.m. towards Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme . Arrival around 11:00 a.m. Free time to discover the pretty medieval town with its medieval feel. Early afternoon towards the Parc du Marquenterre . Arrival around 2:30 p.m.
Guided discovery of 2 hours to explore the ornithological park: a 2 to 4 km route to observe birds from all over Europe, a unique landscape in the heart of the Nature Reserve.
After the walk, take the bus back to the hotel. Dinner at 7:00 p.m. at the hotel restaurant La Terrasse (1 avenue du Général de Gaulle) and overnight in the Berck-sur-Mer area.

Day 2:Breakfast then departure at 10:30 a.m. for a boat trip , where you will discover the most beautiful bay in the world. You will be able to observe the fauna and flora. With a little luck, you will be able to spot the famous seals. Free lunch.

Early afternoon, guided discovery of the medieval city of Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme . Unmissable passages through the Chapelle Saint-Pierre, the Courtgain, the Calvaire where you will discover a breathtaking view of the Bay. Pick up the bus at 5:00 p.m. for an arrival in Paris around 8:00 p.m.

The visit to the Parc du Marquenterre,after spending the morning exploring the medieval town of Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, the afternoon is dedicated to a guided discovery tour of the ornithological park in the heart of the Nature Reserve. Day 2 :
Return: to Paris around 9:00 p.m., Place Nation

This experience offers a serene and immersive way to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
