Beautiful escape to the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes

1 Day 2 Nights

Day 1

Departure at 8:30 a.m. towards Clermont-Ferrand. Arrival around 2:30 p.m. Installation at the hotel. Free afternoon to explore the city, unmissable passages through its small medieval streets lined with houses built with Volvic stone, the Romanesque basilica Notre-Dame du Port (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Old Quarter Montferrand. Night at the hotel in Clermont or the surrounding area.

Day 2

Breakfast then departure at 9:00 a.m. towards Saint-Ours . Arrival around 9:45 a.m. Departure at 10:00 a.m. for the small train tour of the Lemptégy Volcano . On the program, discovery of chimneys, volcanic bombs, lava flow. You will access the heights of the site to admire around ten neighboring volcanoes, you will appreciate the panoramic view of the entire Volcano. After the visit, time for a traditional lunch on site . Return of the bus at 2:30 p.m. towards Ocines. Arrival around 3:00 p.m. Departure for the Dômes panoramic cogwheel train . Departure for a supervised visit to the summit, accompanied by a tour guide, you will discover the secrets of the Chaine des Puys, from its geological formation to its UNESCO world heritage listing. Pick up the bus at 5:30 p.m. for a return to the hotel. Arrival around 6:00 p.m. Free time and night at the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast then departure at 9:30 a.m. towards Vulcania . Arrival around 10:00 a.m. Free time to explore the park on the theme of volcanoes and natural phenomena. Return of the bus at 12:30 p.m. towards Paris. Stop for lunch en route. Arrival in Paris around 8:00 p.m.

Departure: from Paris at 8:30 a.m., Place Nation – Clermont-Ferrand:
